Domestic Warranty:

• A 10–year warranty covers frames and springing suspension
• A 2 year warranty covers steel soft sprung edge wire, and other non upholstered items. This excludes fabrics and leathers. However, if any covering is agreed to be defective every effort will be made to negotiate a satisfactory settlement with the supplier on your behalf. Individual fabric and leather suppliers can provide warranties relating performance. All sofa bed mechanism carry a one year warrantee by the suppliers. Lounge is not the manufacturer of these products however, every effort will be made to address and defects with fabrics and leather suppliers. All Suppliers have their own warrantee on your behalf

Commercial Warranty:

• A 5 year structural warranty covers frames and springing suspension.
• This warranty covers the structural integrity of the sofa in a commercial environment.
• A 2 year warranty of other non-upholstered items are covered by suppliers.

Warranty Claims:

• Warranty claims only apply to the original purchaser of the item of furniture
• Claims can be made through the place from where the furniture was purchased
• An inspection to determine the nature and cause of the fault will be conducted by your point-of-purchase or Lounge representative and you will be advised whether the alleged defect has been caused by fair wear and tear, carrier damage, abuse or faulty manufacturing.
• The warranty covers the cost involved in repair but excludes any transport or freight costs involved associated with the repair but excludes any transport or freight cost associated with the claim.
• Original proof of purchase with invoice number must be accompanied with the warranty claim.
• Our warranty does not cover wear and tear or apply to furniture which has been subject to abuse or improper care. In case of abuse, negligence, fire, accident, etc. or items beyond the warranty period, the customer must pay a transportation charge in addition to the cost of the repair work.
• Furniture will wear with time, developing comfort creases in the fabric or leather. Given that we use natural materials, woods and leather encounter colour and texture variations as part of their natural character. Filling materials will soften and flatten somewhat with use, comforting to body shape. N.B. This is not considered a manufacturing defect.
• Any unauthorised attempt to repair any piece of Lounge furniture will grant this guarantee null and void. A minimum service call charge will apply where the supplier is requested to attend conditions not relating to the suppliers warranty and manufacturing obligations.
